Is the simplest procedure quite well for consensus?

Procedure of reception of the coordinated result of various systems, used in BCS and Kenneth Massey in his compilation is simple and it seems natural. However its detailed consideration results in some logic contradictions. About it has very in detail written in the the remarkable analysis.

Let's look at this procedure about some other point of view.

The matter is that calculation of average ranks is that other as calculation of "defeats" of teams if to imagine a matrix in which all higher is appropriated a victory above all subordinate

The rank of a team is that other as number of defeats plus 1, that from the point of view of calculation of an average rating of nothing changes.

Matrix representation of ranking however opens a way to more adequate definition of the coordinated representation of different computer ranking. For this purpose it is logical to use any of systems of calculation of ratings. Well it is valid, if using ratings we leave from a simple rating - calculation of victories (calculation of glasses a 2-victory, 1-drawn game 0 - defeat).

That is strange, that at summarizing various computer programs we use the most elementary rating. It all the same what to use a computer as a table on which with the help of the calculator to make calculator
